Synopsis
THE THEATRE OF DISAPPEARANCE is a trilogy that seeks to account for a latent state of war that permeates the human landscape, with its multiple environments and specific conditions of existence.
From Mexico City to Beirut, from Shanghai to Kabul, from New York to Jerusalem, passing through Qatar, Palestine, or Athens, Villar Rojas attempts to extract the ominous and imminent that pulsates in each small action or daily gesture, in every corner of a planet whose hinges seem to be moving, slower or faster, more perceptibly or imperceptibly – depending on where we stand, what day, and even what time – toward its virtual disappearance, at least as we have known it so far.
